The League of Friends funded a beautiful diorama situated in the hospital grounds. It is a memorial for Cathy Gilham, who worked at the hospital for 40 years.

The League of Friends is working closely with hospital staff and Nikaela Walter’s family to create a meaningful and lasting tribute to a much-loved person. Nikaela brought warmth, creativity and joy to everyone she encountered – especially the patients that she supported through her arts activities and compassion. The memorial will honour her impact and celebrate the friendship she shared with patients and staff alike.
