South Petherton’s community came out in force to support the League of Friends’ two fundraising coffee mornings in October.

The Methodist Hall.

Held at the Methodist Hall in the centre of the village, both activities were an opportunity to meet friends over coffee, eat delicious home-made cakes, buy attractive Christmas cards and take part in a raffle for fabulous hampers containing a wealth of delectable treats.

These mornings take place annually and are  important events in the League’s calendar. As well as raising funds to support the health and wellbeing of the hospital’s community, they allow us to meet old friends and make new ones.

The South Petherton Community Hospital means a great deal to the local communities, and is supported wholeheartedly by those living in the village. Our thanks go to all of those people who supported us at our coffee mornings – it was lovely to see you. For those who won the raffle hampers – enjoy your feast!
